Hayley, Head of Service & Operations

I joined San-iT as the Head of Service & Operations in 2023.

I’ve been very fortunate to have worked in conjunction with San-iT for several years, in a multitude of areas within IT and can whole-heartedly say that from my very first interaction as a client, to now as an employee… that there are no egos, you are respected, the culture is extremely inviting, and what you have to say matters.

For a decade I worked within the financial claims industry, having been heavily involved in all areas of development, reporting, operations and so much more. What began as a hobby in my youth taking apart electronics to inspect the components, has progressed into a deep-rooted passion for all areas of IT. Within my role at San-iT, I am responsible for ensuring that business is conducted in a manner wherein the highest level of service is provided, whilst dealing with all of the intricacies in the technology industry so that our clients don’t have to. I enjoy working in a warm environment, and collaborating with my colleagues to push boundaries and strive for excellence.

From the days of personalising Myspace profiles with HTML, to learning new code languages and consistently being in awe of the ever-changing industry, there is always something more to learn when it comes to tech… I find that extremely exciting. The complexity of taking an idea from pen and paper and then working to turn it into to a fully functional end to end solution, is the part of my job I love the most. The sense of accomplishment is second to none, that’s why I find the work I do very addictive.

One of my biggest guilty pleasures in life is curling up on the sofa with my dogs and a blanket, then binge watching a TV series (usually the same dozen on repeat). Honestly, I think I must have watched the entirety of Greys Anatomy nearly a hundred times. Something I should possibly be embarrassed about, but the TV is my happy place. When I can pull myself away from the sofa, I am usually spending time with my son and husband making the most out of life’s little adventures.
