2018 is drawing to a close and as always, it’s time to celebrate the successes of the year. It’s award season and the San-iT team have been hitting the red carpet, representing the company at both the City of Manchester Business Awards (COMBAS) and the Talk of Manchester Business Awards (TOMS).
It started at the COMBAs
November 29th was an exciting night for San-iT at the eighth annual ‘City of Manchester Business Awards’ by Downtown in Business Manchester. Hosted at the beautiful Midland hotel by leading BBC personality, Jacey Normand and Downtown Political Editor, Jim Hancock, the event attracted over 300 of the city’s top business personalities to celebrate a year of success for Manchester businesses.
We were honoured to be nominated amongst some strong contenders in the ‘Best IT Provider’ category, so a contingent of the team led by Directors Barry and Louise Lowe, donned their dinner gowns and dickie bows to represent us. Competition in this category was fierce and although we were disappointed to miss out this year, we pass our congratulations on to Everything Tech, who walked away with the award.
San-iT was proud to sponsor the ‘Hotel of the Year 2018’ this year and MD Barry was delighted to present Malmaison Manchester with the trophy. Congratulations again Malmaison from all the team at San-iT!
Then on to the TOMS
A few weeks later we again donned our finery for the Talk of Manchester Awards at the Mercure Hotel. Last year saw us walk away with the coveted trophy in the category of Best IT Support Provider and this year we were privileged to be nominated in the same category. Although the top spot went to Eventura, we were still delighted to come home with a special commendation for running them a close second by achieving an impressive number of votes.
Looking ahead to 2019
2019 brings a new year and new goals. An office extension lays the foundations for our growth and we can’t wait to continue to expand the team by helping our clients transform through technology.
The whole team at San-iT wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
