Account Manager (Client Success Manager)

Brief description of role

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Account Manager (Client Success Manager) to join an established Managed Service Provider based in Cheadle Hulme, South Manchester. 

This opportunity will suit a talented Account Manager who is well versed in relationship management and building rapport. As an Account Manger you will empower your clients to succeed through technology, by helping businesses to work smarter, operate safer and think bigger. 

You will manage your own portfolio of clients from day one, placing customer engagement and satisfaction at the heart of everything you do, recommending value-add actions to support retention, whilst identifying and converting opportunities to upsell. 



Requirements / Responsibilities

  • The key aspect of the role is to help manage, build and develop a number of key client relationships and to carry out strategic activities with these clients, both reacting to requests from customers, and proactively developing sales of products and services.  
  • Gathering client feedback to assist, support and encourage your team to consistently deliver an outstanding service.   
  • To carry out account reviews and strategic reviews at the frequency dictated in the client’s individual contracts.  
  • Work to KPI targets.  
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience of Account Managing. 
  • Direct experience in the IT industry working in a technical capacity is essential, preferably within the B2B environment and ideally with first-hand experience of a Service Desk environment. 
  • A natural sense of empathy to ensure customers are left feeling looked after and cared about.
