San-iT Employee Engagement survey 2023

Most business leaders would agree that key to a company’s success is happy clients, willing to pay for the company’s goods and services.

The key to achieving client happiness, as in clients who want to do business with you again and again, is in our opinion to focus on employee happiness.

 As a ‘People First’ organisation, the thoughts and opinions of our staff are very important to us. We believe that if we have a happy and motivated team this will ultimately result in happy clients!

We score our surveys in a similar fashion to the Net Promoter Score System. Each member of staff is given a survey and asked to rank their experience between 1-10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. A score of 6 or below suggests an employee is not engaged, 7 signifies partial engagement, and scores of between 8 – 10 denotes engaged and super-engaged!

Enjoyment at work and job satisfaction:

We are so pleased that so many of our team feel valued in their role (8.6) and are proud to work for the company (8.8). The vast majority even enjoy working with their colleagues (9.27)! They also feel encouraged to innovate (8.47) and they believe it is fun working here (8.4).

Wellbeing, progression & training

Fostering employee wellbeing is good for our people and our organisation. Promoting wellbeing can help prevent stress and create a positive working environment where our individuals can thrive.

At San-iT we have regular staff check-ins, staff socials and ‘Sanity days’ where our staff can have two days away from the business each year to learn something new, volunteer or participate in activities that boost their mental health.  

Our team believe that we are committed to supporting their health and wellbeing (9.6) and that the company acts as if colleagues are the most valuable resource (9.2). 93% of our staff believe that they have sufficient opportunity for their voices to be heard.

Furthermore, our team believe that they can progress in the organisation (8.73) and many feel that they have progressed in their role (8.0).

Inclusion at work:

We passionately believe in nurturing an inclusive and diverse workforce. We are delighted that 100% of our staff have endorsed our efforts, giving us an average score of 10/10! Our staff trust us to treat all individuals fairly, that people of all cultures and backgrounds are valued and respected and that we provide an environment for the free and open expression of ideas, opinions, and beliefs. We want our staff to feel like they can achieve success as their true authentic self.

Purpose and values:

The reason we get up every day is to help our clients to work smarter, operate safer and think bigger through technology. Our team are committed to delivering outstanding customer service. They trust us to behave in ways that are true to our values of putting people first (8.8), having no egos (9.13) and that we embrace change (9.27).

Whilst the results of our survey are fantastic, we won’t stop here, we will continue to strive to improve the working lives of our most valuable asset, our employees. We are delighted that they feel happy and supported here at San-iT.
